‘Be Calm, Be Happy’ provides a gradual introduction to mindfulness, meditation and key teachings on positive happy living over six weekly classes. Each class includes guided mindfulness exercises and meditations, group discussions and practical exercises led by an experienced facilitator in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Vari met Thich Nhat Hanh 26 years ago on a retreat and knew that the Plum Village mindfulness tradition was where she felt at home. Since this time Vari has applied
mindfulness to all aspects of her life and experienced the healing, calmness and happiness it can bring. Vari has enjoyed teaching mindfulness for over 12 years.
Howard has been enjoying practising mindfulness for six years and has found that it has brought a rich deepening to his daily life. He enjoys using mindfulness in his voluntary work as a chaplain with a mental health trust.
